My name is Rachael and I am currently studying a Masters in Special and Inclusive Education after having completed my BA Hons in Childhood and Youth Studies with Psychology in 2019. During my undergraduate degree I was working as a one to one playworker with children that had disabilities and this made me realise what I wanted to do in the future. This is when I researched Masters in the field I wanted to work in. During lockdown, I had lost my job and was spending all my time working on University assignments but I have always been creative, therefore I decided I needed to have a creative outlet. 

Let me take you back to where it all began, I love getting personalised jackets asthey are always so comfy and great for events, but the prices were extremelyhigh. I had worked out how much I had spent on personalised items and to say Iwas shocked, was an understatement. So, I started researching how much it wouldcost for me to start creating my own personalised items. The initial start upcost was high but, it was well worth the investment I would say. Glam, Sparkle& Unique was born during the first lockdown of 2020, something to get mycreativity on and create items for family and close friends, I did not realisethat starting a business was even on the cards at that time.

Glam, Sparkle & Unique began to expand the products it was able to offer customers,finding suppliers that supplied amazing and unique products to suit what Iwanted to offer. I wanted to be able to offer personalised products ataffordable prices and work with customers to create gift packages or sets fortheir budget. I am always working to expand what I can offer, includingsourcing products customers ask me for.
